The unaccompanied minor policy has recently been reviewed and there have been some changes to the minimum age in which Virgin Atlantic class a passenger as an adult, accompanying a minor.
The current minimum age for an adult accopanying a child is 16 years. However, with effect from 7th June 2017, this has been raised to 18 years of age. check here for details.
